Year level requirements: Compulsory

Prerequisites:

All students will complete a full year of Mathematics. Students are placed into classes based on their ability and performance in the previous year. The different levels of abilities are Advanced, General and Essential. Students can move between different levels based on their achievement. The course for each level contains the following topics. All classes are taught the Australian Curriculum.

Assessment:

There is an exam for each class towards the end of terms 2 and 4.

Special requirements:

Casio Scientific Calculator – FX-82 AU PLUS. By the end of Year 9 (beginning of Year 10), students will need to purchase a graphics calculator CASIO CG20AU and is a compulsory requirement of the subject.
