Student Voice

The Student's Representative Council is the main arena for the voicing of students opinion.  It comprises of two representatives per class who meet once a month in year level groups.  These groups run activities pertaining to the year level e.g. fund raisers and year level dinners.

.

SRC Congress

Four representatives per year level meet as an executive , monthly, under the leadership of the School Captains who control the agenda and run meetings.

The Executive decide on issues that affect the whole school community as well as matters arising out of student suggestion boxes. From the Executive, delegates are chosen to represent student opinion at the Governing Council, Curriculum Policy and grounds or Finance sub-committees.

SCHOOL CAPTAINS

One male and one female are elected to the positions of School Captain each year. To be elected, they must be nominated by students and vetted by the School Principal.  From there they need to prepare a vision statement for school perusal and make an "election" speech at the school voting.

Staff and students from year 8-11 are to vote in a non-compulsory vote. As the Captains come form the year 11 cohort, the year 11 vote is twice that of other groups.
