If your child is currently in year 6 and wishes to attend Modbury High School from year 7, please view the information below.
Additional information about the transitional enrolment process for students in year 6 can be obtained from your child's government primary school.
The enrolment process each year begins in week one of term 2. Parents and caregivers with students in years 6 will receive communication with their child’s URL to access the online registration of interest form.
Families will be notified of their student’s allocated high school in mid-August. Enrolment acceptance forms will be distributed via email (or paper forms via the primary schools) on Friday 13 August. Private school students who have been accepted will have packs sent to their home addresses in the same week.
Acceptance of enrolment forms must be submitted online or returned to Modbury High School by Friday 27 August.

Students who have siblings currently attending Modbury High School or have left within the last 12 months are eligible for a placement.
Students who identify as Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander can apply to attend the SA government high school of their choice via the Enter for Success program. Further information can be found via this link.
The waiting list is activated in week one of term four. Parents will be notified directly or via their primary school depending on contact details given.
Placements are offered up until the end of term 4 and are filled by in-zone and students with sibling rights first. The school is not at liberty to reveal the order of individual students on the waiting list.
Two information nights are held during the year; Open Night in term one and Parent Information Night for students starting the following year in term 4.
