International Programs

Modbury High School welcomes new international students and supports them to settle into their new accommodation with their Homestay families.

Modbury High School (South Australian Government School CRICOS Provider Number: 00018A) has a history of achievement in many fields including academic, band musicianship, sports and Pedal Prix. International students can expect the following:

Modbury High School offers the following international programs designed for overseas students:

High School Graduate Program

Students enrol in the High School Graduate Program in order to undertake and complete their senior studies and gain the South Australian Certificate of Education (SACE).

High School Study Abroad Program

Students may choose a 1, 2, 3, or 4 term High School Study Abroad Program. Students are integrated into main stream classes in order for them to improve their English proficiency and experience life and education at school as well as in the wider community. Students can choose from academic or experiential programs according to their interests and learning needs.

Study Tours

Modbury High School also hosts Short Term Study Tour Groups usually for up to 14 days. This program includes English classes, experiential programs of mainstream lessons and excursions in and around Adelaide.

International Education students are able to attend camps and excursions provided by DECD approved tour operators. Students can avail themselves of tours to the Outback, Kangaroo Island and interstate. These tours are mostly held during school holidays. Information is given to students during their induction day at the commencement of their placement.
