Location

Modbury High school is a secondary school for students in Year 7-12. It is located 15km North-East of Adelaide on spacious, picturesque grounds containing extensive sporting facilities.

Situated within the Tea Tree Gully Council. It is close to the Adelaide Foothills and River Torrens, Recreational parks, major shopping and cinema centres.

School Bus Service

The school does not run it's own personal bus service, however Torrens Transit and Adelaide Metro provide a bus to and from the school. This bus also stops at the Tea Tree Plaza Interchange, before stopping at the school.

Parents who wish for their child to travel to school by bus are advised to visit the Adelaide Metro website to find the most convenient stop for the child to catch the bus.

For those who are required to stop at the Interchange through the use of other public buses and arrive too early or too late for the school bus. The school is approximately a 10-15 minute walk and there are many paths and shortcuts available should you wish to follow them. The most common is along Smart Road and turning down Australia Avenue to the back of the school.

School Zoning

Year seven and eight placements are offered based on three criteria;

  1. In-Zone enrolments
  2. All students whose permanent and primary place of residence is within the Modbury High School zone (as decided by Department for Education (DfE); are automatically offered a placement at the school.
  3. Proof of residence is required for example; current council rates or a gas/electricity bill.

We believe in a culture of achievement in a respectful and rigorous learning environment
