Cross Disciplinary Studies

Welcome to Cross Disciplinary Studies, where education meets innovation. Our goal is not just to prepare students for the future, but to engage their interests, stimulate their creativity, and unlock their potential.

In Year 7, students are introduced to the Entrepreneurship curriculum. They will learn how to develop their own business ideas and present them effectively. This course aims to inspire and motivate young minds by giving them a taste of what it's like to be an entrepreneur.

In Years 9 & 10, students participate in Innovative Learning, a hands-on, project-based approach to education. They will tackle real-world problems using modern technology, providing a practical learning experience.

Year 10 Exploring Identities and Futures (EIF) prepares students on how to deal with today's rapidly changing world. Students learn about themselves, their strengths, weaknesses and how to reach their future goals. They are prepared for senior school by building the knowledge and skills they need to succeed. Students take control of their learning journey, exploring interests, work, travel, and further studies.
In Year 11, Research Practices student will learn invaluable life long research skill and will choose a topic of interest, conduct research and develop their investigative skills.

In Year 12 Activating Identities and Futures (AIF) students will take charge of their own learning. They choose strategies to explore, create, and plan projects based on their interests. This helps them learn how to learn and what to do when they face challenges. Students explore ideas related to an area of personal interest through self-directed inquiry.

Year 12 Workplace Practices brings learning into the real world. Students will explore different work environments, understand industrial relations, and gain practical experience in professional settings.

For those who need additional support, we offer Community StudiesCommunity Connections, and Integrated Learning. These programs are designed to embrace diversity and provide a tailored approach to learning.

For students interested in vocational education, VET offers pathways to careers in trades such as construction and hospitality. With practical experience and industry knowledge, students will be well-prepared for their future careers.

Join us in Cross Disciplinary Studies, where we encourage big dreams, creative thinking, and exploring the endless possibilities ahead.
